Mothers Day is always bitter sweet for me. I reflect a lot on my mother and the relationship I wish I could of had with her. Levi asked me what my best memory of her was, it is of her hair, I remember how long and beautiful it was. It is sad to think of the 9 months and 2 years she took care of me and that is the only memory I have. This is not meant to be a woe is me blog, but one of gratitude for those women who have taught me, cared for me, and helped me to be stronger then I ever thought I could be. And I know if my mom could comprehend the love that has been wrapped around me, I think she would be grateful too. There are so many women in my life, I wish I could go down a list and give everyone the kudos they deserve, but that seriously would take hours!! So to all of you women, I love each and every one of you. I still have so much to learn, but I have so many great people to learn from!
My kids and Levi did a great job for my mothers day. The best will always be them singing to me in sacrament meeting! Though I did appreciate the yummy breakfast, and dinner. The fun presents, and the shouts of HAPPY MOTHERS DAY. (A week later Johnathan still tells me every few hours)! I love being a mom!
