Dying Easter eggs was fun. Johnathan learned he could punch a hole in his hard boiled egg with one finger. Needless to say I gave him a plastic one for him to dye after that! We had our Easter egg hunt. The kids loved it. It is strange not being able to hide the decorated eggs, it is too hot, so all the dye sweats off. So there was even more eggs to hide!Easter was a lot of fun. Rosie searched for her Easter basket before she came to wake us up. She was so funny. Johnathan's face was priceless as he opened his first Easter egg and a ton of jelly beans came flying out. But the sweetest moment was Rosie. Janeia walked by her room and Rosie was awake. She asked Rosie what day it was. Rosie said Easter, then Janeia asked her what does that mean. Janeia was thinking we can go get our baskets the Easter bunny came that type of answer. And Rosie said "Jesus died for us". I always wonder what my children understand. And I am always surprised. Sometimes I forget how close to the Savior, and how Christ like these children really are. They are such an amazing example to me. I love you my sweet Rosie.
