Goober past away on Sat. My kids love this cat. I think it was more a love hate relationship. I was going to list the good, the bad, and the ugly for this cat, but I will just go with the good! He was great with my babies. I mean babies once they hit 18 months they became just like anyone else. He would let babies pull his ears fur, tail and not move a muscle. He loved being petted. He loved it so much he would chew on your clothes while he purred. While this strange habit caused some problems outside of being petted it was pretty cute while you pet him. My kids loved him even when us adults didn't see his great qualities. But Goober was sick for awhile. And as I explained to Rosie what was going on, I said he will probably die. She said" Mommy that is okay, he will live with Minnie(Minnie was Levis dog. she died when Rosie was 2). Minnie won't be lonely anymore. And they will both live again." It was so sweet. I don't even know how to describe how great this moment was. Sometimes children understand and feel a lot more then we give them credit for.
