zoo

Grandma took us to the zoo on Friday.  It had been awhile since we had gone.  We had a lot of fun.  The animals were all being fed.  It was weird to see the voltures' food.(I think it was ground meat.)  Johnathan was more fascinated with the rolly polly that he saw, then some of the animals.  But his favorites were the grizzly bear playing in the water, the lions, cows, and the reindeer.  Rosie just looked at me like  I was asking such a strange question and said "Mom, the zoo is my favorite"  Grandma also took them on the carousel.  Johnathan rode on the wart hog, and Rosie on the gazelle.   It is always bitter sweet watching them, on one hand it is cute to see them so happy, but it makes me sick to watch it spin!  Kathrine, seemed to just enjoy being out.  She is a people watcher!  She started the morning off right though.  She pooped out her clothes and I forgot an extra set, so we had to buy her a onsie.  Little did we know that was just the tip of the iceberg for  the weekend!  But Janet and I enjoyed not only the zoo, but getting lost going to the zoo, and coming home.  It was nice just relaxing and walking around.  I love the zoo!
