ice cream

We are ice cream freaks.  That is all there is to say.  The other day to decrease our intake of ice cream in the summer, I had the brilliant idea of ice cream cones.  It limits our ice cream to one scoop!  This was Kathrine's first time eating an ice cream cone, and I have to say the joy on her face from having an ice cream cone like Rosie and Johnathan was priceless!  Though she dumped out the ice cream and ate the cone!  They all loved it!  I also have to add this conversation with the lady in the line at the grocery store. Her:"Wow that is a huge thing of ice cream, I have never seen such a big thing of ice cream before."(As she is staring at me)
Me:  "Yeah, it is a gallon.  It is great for the summer, it is not as good as the more expensive stuff, but kids are no respecter of ice cream!"(Secretly I think Neapolitan tastes the best coming from the cheap gallon containers, but who wants to admit that?!)
Her:  (Still staring at us with an unashamed disgusted look on her face) "I can see how they wouldn't care"
Me: At this point, I can't say anything that won't sound rude.  So I keep my mouth shut!
